USGS water gauge on Grand River in Painesville Ohio
You can check the River Flow (cfs) and water depth in real time. Water Levels of 1.75 to 4 ft. are necessary to paddle from Harpersfield to Hidden Valley and/or Mason's Landing. Due to construction at Sate Route 84 bridge, water flow may be more accurate than the depth measurement. Flows over 285cfs will usually give you safe passage below Harpersfield Dam downstream. Water levels of 1.50 to paddle from Tote Rd. Park to Harpersfield Park. Schweitzer to Tote Rd. Park always open.
